My 5yr old loves Martha Speaks. She has such a funny imagination she keeps me laughing most of the day. I don’t know what I will do when she goes to kindergarten this fall.

Let me just say our household LOVES Martha Speaks. Our 5yr. old daughter, Catie, tells us a new word/phrase/expression she has learned from Martha everyday! Right now she keeps telling me ‘no harm done’, “You know from Martha Mommy, it means it will be ok, no one got hurt.” It’s pretty much a running joke in our family that whatever she says it came from Martha Speaks. Thank you as a Mom and Teacher, we love Martha Speaks!

When my oldest son was five, he was playing “house” with my husband’s niece. When I went to check on them, I discovered my niece laying down and my son yelling “PUSH!!”. I was aghast, but knowing this particular role playing was probably my fault for subjecting him to too much of TLC’s A Baby Story, I gently told him that type of pretending wasn’t acceptable. To which my son replied, “It’s okay, Mommy. We pretended to get married first.”

My 6 year old son came home from school one day and told me that one of the boys in his class said he wanted to be a fireman when he grew up, I said oh yeah, and he says but I’m pretty sure all he is going to be is a villian. I just cracked up, but he was so serious. I love what kids come up with.

I was peeling an orange for my 3 year old daughter one afternoon and as I was peeling I must have made some funny face, so she proceeds to ask me, Mommy are you pooping your pants. I just about died! I said no , so she proceeds to tell me that I must be passing gas then. You never know what a little one might say.

My little girl loves Martha! She runs around the house being a dog most of the day and night. She is very good now at running on all fours. When I had my youngest she cried and cried because she wanted him to be a talking dog! When she realized that wasn’t going to happen she wanted to know what we could please do to make ours talk or could she just be a dog! We love Martha and she has our DVR filled! Thank you so much for Martha Speaks!!!
