We’re giving away love … guess how much
Posted on December 17, 2009 by FoBaM-Jamie
The chance to express our love to friends and family is what makes this time of the year so special. It’s amazing how quickly the year zips by. Life gets busy, moments come and go, and we never seem able to find just the right words to say ‘I love you.’ But, during the holidays we finally find ourselves ready to reach out with heartfelt words, hugs, and other tokens of our affection. Though the rest of the year may slip away, the holidays offer the perfect excuse to let our sentimental selves run rampant.
Of course, with young children, saying “I love you” is much easier. My daughter probably hears those words twenty times a day from me, and another dozen or so from other members of her family. Bedtime is especially full of snuggles and sweet nothings. Some of our favorite “lovey” traditions have been inspired by the bedtime stories we read. The book Guess How Much I Love You was the spark for a game called “I love you more than …” Much like Big Nutbrown Hare and Little Nutbrown Hare in Guess How Much I Love You, my daughter and I take turns coming up with creative ways to say ‘I love you.’ We may start with ‘I love you more than ponies’ and wind up at ‘I love you more than all the stars in the sky.’ I can’t think of any game I’d rather play.
Today, the FoBaM team is excited to announce our first giveaway, and we couldn’t be more pleased about partnering with Candlewick Press to share their Guess How Much I Love You collection. Perfect for any time of the year, a Guess How Much I Love You prize package will be delivered to ten lucky FoBaM members in January – just in time for a post-holiday-chaos, mid-winter warm up. The set includes a hardcover edition of the original classic, a box set of the board book edition with a darling plush, a boxed pair of two other great Nutbrown Hare titles – Colors Everywhere and When I’m Big, and a sweet baby book that’s just waiting to capture all your special memories.

My son and I love this book!!! We read it all the time!
My 5 year old told my 2 year old that he loves him more than the stars in the sea.
Of course this probably also means I’ve been letting him watch too much Spongebob, but it’s still cute.
My 4 yr. old Joey said to me “I love you so much that I could crawl inside you”.
What a great giveaway! Good luck to everyone who enters!
How about “I love you as much as the leaves on every tree!”
I think this is a great idea. During this busy time and season, I will make it a point to tell the people I love, that I do love them. Maybe we should say it way more often then we do.
My mom always told me: “I love you to the moon and stars and back again.” I have carried that with me and now that I have my own son, I tell him that every day. Each night before bed, I ask him, “Do you know how much Mommy loves you?” And he responds the same way everytime: “To the moon and stars and back again, right Mommy?” It never gets old.
My 4 yr. old Joey also said to me ” I love you so much that I could kiss your brain”.
I love you as much as the sun shines down upon you, as the wind blows beside you, as my heart squeezes each time I look at you, with all my heart and soul, I love you.
I Love You as much as there are stars in the sky! I love you as much as there are fish in the sea.
That’s how much I love my three kids aged 21, 17 and 3.
I have 3 kids and one on the way. My son Dylan who is 6 said this to me a few months ago. “Mommy I love you as much as the full moon eats a lot of stars, thats why the full moon is so big and full!” It just melted my heart. I love my kids!
My daugher, at 2 years old, said “i love you in the whole Afigo”, which meant, I love you more than anything in the whole wide world. I think she got “world” and “Africa” mixed up and then mispronounced Africa! LOL
I LOVE YOU AS MUCH AS….ALL THE PLANETS IN SPACE!!!
My daughter, when 3, 4, & 5 years old (now 10), used to say I love you more than I love pineapple. And let me tell you, she LOVES pineapple. In her eyes that was her way of expressing her love.
I always tell my 2 year old son, “I love you as much as the sky and that goes on forever!”
My brother is 10 1/2 years younger than me and Id always say “I love you to the moon and back” and hed always reply “I love you to the end of the universe and back again”, cause he has to one up me, now its so cool to watch him read to my son who is 17 mos.
My kids are little. I have a 3 year old girl and twin 1 year old girls. My oldest always says after we say “I love you”, “I love you but with sugar on the top”. Not sure where she got that but its cute. She always makes sure before she goes to bed that she gets a kiss and a hug and has my husband make sure to give mommy a kiss and a hug otherwise she won’t go to sleep. They are funny at this age.
i bought this book for my daughter n now my granddaughter has the book it has brought so much joy to both of them this book is surely special
I love you as much as is a hard statement to end because I love my daughter more then anything in this world. She has changed my life. We love to play the I love you game. I really love when she tells me she loves me a billion trillion is her sweetest 4yr old voice. I hope all Moms take the time to tell their children How much they are loved this holiday season and the whole year through.
“I love you as much as”…jingles love bells. This coming from my three year old daughter.
At bedtime one night, she curled into a ball up against my back and she says, “Mommy, know what?” I said, “What Destanie?” She says, “I just love you so much.” It was the sweetest thing I had ever heard in my life. There is a “game” that I play with both of my children, ages 3 and 9. One will start by saying, “I love you.” Then, I answer back with I love you more. Then the other will say, “No, I love you more.” Then I say, “I love you best”, and another will say, “No, I love you best.” We have done it for hours sometimes. My love for my children is better than anything that I have ever known or feel that I ever will. They are my life.
My 7 year old is always telling me I will be in heart forever!! That’s a long time. I always tell both of my girls that I loved them long before they were ever born, which is true, because I had a lot of trouble conceiving and staying pregnant – so yes I’ve loved them for a long time before I ever met them!
Our 5 yr old son always says: “I love you as much as the sunshines” and we reply with, “we love you more!” It’s cute because we know he’s saying it as one word, not two (sun shines). He’s the bomb!!!!!!!
I love you as much as… all the snowflakes in the sky!
In our family it’s “I love you this much” and we put the backs of our hand together implying that our love goes all the way around the world and back.
I love you more than ladybugs and butterflies is what my 4 year old daughter Sarah tells me. My 10 yr. old son tells me, I love you more than infinity! And I feel every bit of it from him too. But my oldest son whom is 13 tells me he loves me more than double because I am his mom/dad. Being a single parent gives me no choice but to be both. I feel blessed to know I’m loved double for it too! However, I love them all more than life it’s self! They are my life, family and friends.
I am active duty stationed away from my family right now…..I have always read this book to my children. My 6 year old tells me all the time he loves me all the way to heaven….and back. (Then he asked his teacher what is the BIGGEST number ever?) So he told me that night…..I love you to heaven and back…..and….I love you pie!! haha!
Sweet little man!
I always tell my 4 and 5 yr olds that ” I Love them very muches” and the response is “Do you love me more than daddy” (usually while “daddy” is sitting right there) !!
Quote from my 4 yr old daughter….
“I LOVE YOU AS MUCH AS….ALL THE KISSES YOU GIVE ME!”
I love you as much as I could love anything.
I love my daughter and would love to win this for us. She is only 2, so a little early to hear a clear response from her
My little one is only 8 mos. old so she hasn’t learned to tell me yet how much she loves her Mommy & Daddy, but we sure tell her . . .“I love you as much as all the stars in the sky and there are so many stars you can’t even count em’…” I just adore her . . .
Oh what a fabulous gift for the holidays…even birthday’s. Celebrate the small moments in life with your child/ren.
My 3 year old tells me “I love you all around the world and up to the sky, mommy”.I just melt whenever he says that!
Last night I told my 2 yr old son I love you baby, go nighnight now ok? He said yes mama, I love you too. I said How much? He said I love you more than santa claus loves his reindeer
My daughter tells me she loves me more than chocolate cupcakes and ice cream, her two favorite foods! Every time she tells me that I just have to smile, it’s so sweet!
“I love you as much as…” day turns into night and the Earth orbits the sun. My love for you, dear child of mine, is never-ending!
My daughter always says mom guess how much i love you…and she will reply with one of two answers. One is i love you infidity which is her way of saying infinity. and the other my favorite is I love you to the moon…and even all the way back
Before bedtime I’ll tell one of my children ‘I love you as much as a million bazillion chocolate truffles’ (they know that’s my all-time favorite candy). It becomes a game as we try to top the other one thinking of how much more we love one another (even though we all know our love for each other far surpasses how much we enjoy ‘things’).
I say to my 4 year old ” I Love You how much? More than you could ever imagine” Then he Says “Mommy I love you more than the stars in the sky and bigger than the moon!”
My daughters always answer that question with I Love you to infinity and beyond. Too much Toy Story?? I tell them I love them more because I loved them before they were born. Happy Holidays everybody! God Bless us everyone.
My son loves me “all the way to the moon and back”…he’s ten and has said that for years! So precious!
This book was both of my daughters favorites…it started our long tradition of, “I Love you bigger!” in which before we leave each other (we are a divorced family now) we interlock our pinkies and finish our loves….ie , “infinity and two…means I love you
first I will say, “Infinity and two…then the girls will say, “Means I Love you” and then it’s their turn to repeat it in the reverse…it is something to remind us that even though we are apart at times…we still love each other Infinity (times two!)
My husband always tells our son, “I love you this much(holds up his pinkie), from one side of my pinkie, all the way through space and time and back to the other side of my pinkie. That’s how much I love you!” Every time he does this I just wanna cry! I love those two so very much. Never knew a heart could feel so full of love and joy. Pure and absolute joy.
My daughter (16 mos.) is too young to respond yet, but I always say I love you as much as all the hearts with all the love in all the world times infinity!
I tell my three y-o son “I love you more than anything in the world”, and he would say I’m mommy’s love.
Before I had children my little niece, Kylee, would say, “I love you all the way up to heaven”.
Now that I have children of my own I realize that “all the way to heaven” is just the tip of the iceberg. I am certain there are no words to describe the love I feel for them! And to think that God loves us even more than that!! Wow!!!
My 4 year old says, “I love you up to Jesus!”
My daughter wins the game every time… She always tells me she loves me past God’s heart… Can’t get much better than that!
My daughter (9) and I go back and forth telling each other how much we love the other. One will start out saying “I love you.” The other will follow with “I love you more,” followed by “I love you to infinity.” The last one will say “Well I love you to infinity and beyond.” We’ve also told each other we love the other more than all the stars in the universe. Usually this takes place with lots of snuggles.
Ever since my daughter was a baby, we have played this game and never get tired of it. My daughter now tells me when I say “guess how much I love you”, a trillion zillion times and to infinite and beyond. She always responds with I love you too high to count..beyond a trillion zillion Mommy. I hope she always remembers that.
I love you as much as children dream!
My 14 yo son used to say to me (when he was little) ‘I love Daddy as much as a house, but I love Mummy as much as a house with a chimney on the top’. He has taught this to his little siblings ages 6 and 1
I love you as much as this life allows
With us it is “I love you more than all the cookies!!”
my little izzabella is 3 yrs old and the other night she cuddled up to me in her bed and she wrapped her arms around my neck and said, “Mommy do you know what I love you for?” and I said “What Izzabella,” truely expecting to hear something really sweet and she says, ” Your bas-ketti and meatballs.” So I said, “Oh thats really nice Bella, but is there anything else you love me for,” thinking just maybe she may say something super sweet and she replies, ” your pizza and macaroni and cheese”.. I guess food is the way to her heart..lol..
I love you as much as a mom loves her childs touch!
My daughter is 11 months old, so she can’t really talk yet…. but I tell her that I love her sooo much that words just can’t describe.
Our copy of this book is dog earred from all the readings (five kids have gone through it and one on the way!) Love it!
I love reading this book to my 5 kids, but it makes me cry every time.
My two year old Maya tells me ” I love you too much mommy.” oh what a feeling.
I love you to the moon and back!
I love you as much as a tired mom loves sleep!
I love you from here to the sun, pass by the stars and back, a zillion times
I love you.
I love you more.
I love you the mostest.
I love you mucher.
Not one for grammar apparently. But the love is there:o)
As high as the sky.
When my son Michael was about three years old I told him I loved him and he replied”Momma I love you so much, it bounces from my heart to yours and back into mine!” Of course welled up tears immediately followed!
My 4yo daughter told me this morning, ” I love you from here to the sun, now can I borrow your sunglasses?, I need them to go to the sun and love you” I’m always begging her to not wear my sunglasses, she loves them
my little guy just turned 3 and I just started playing this with him. While walking to pick up his sister from school, I tell him I love him more than all the cars on the road. And he proceeds to say “I love you more than leaves, I love you more than bikes, I love you more than bugs, and just keeps naming everything he sees for the entire 15 minute walk! <3
I love you as much as I love Santa!
I love you as much as i never thought i was capable of
I love you as much as the stars in the sky…Look up each nite and count each one. For every star you see, that’s one kiss from me. (I like to tell this to my four children)
I love you forever , I love you for always.
When I tell my two year old son Bradley that I love him he says, “I wuv you.” and grabs me around the neck, tucks his head next to mine, and squeezes me real tight. It is the most amazing feeling in the world!
My kids say they love me more than Webkinz and candy. I tell them I love them more than Pepsi and oreos. Sounds silly but to us it means more!
I love you as much as the sun loves to shine.
I Love You As Much As phrase is very one to complete. I love my 2yr. old daughter more than life itself. . .I have told my family and friends since the day she was born that I am in love with my child! Even on the sleepless nights, the days where she wakes up sick, the “terrible two days”, I cannot imagine not loving her or having her in my life. She has completed me and my life! I tell her from morning to night-night time that I lover her to the moon & back and she smiles at me & says in her 2yr old voice “I love you much mom-mom!” I love her so much!!
My 2 year old tells me “Momma I love you TEN DOLLARS!” He thinks Ten Dollars is all the money in the world. And when he says he loves me ten dollars IT IS al the money in the whole world!!!!!
Our 1 year old started out by saying Mommy I love you SOOOOO much with her arms spread wide open. It would melt my heart every time, now that she is getting older she realized that our arms stretch out more than hers so one night as we were tucking her into bed she comes back after we say I love you with “not as much as I love you”. Now every time we say ILY to her she uses her same reply. I just love it so much I don’t know what I’d do without that sweet little voice and those perfect words
At my house it is “I love you more than pie” lol my daughter giggles when i tell her that.
I love you as far as east is from west and from the stars to the ground.
I love you more than you’ll ever know!!!
“I love you more than macaroni loves cheese!”
I love you as much as you love Daddy, maybe even more…..
I love you as much as…a heart can ever hold and then some.
My 6 year old daughter and I will play the “I love you as much as…” game.
We go throught the typical objects, the house, the trees, the sky, moon, etc… but it ALWAYS ends with “I don’t know what your tone is for, but I love YOU more”. And we pretend with our hands on our hips and the “look” until we agree that we love each other the same
I love you more than I ever thought possible in my wildest dreams.
For the past 30 years my mom has told me, “I love you thiiiiss much.” With arms open wide. I will tell my son the same when he is old enough!
From my son from the time he was 4 years old . . .”I love you from the beginning of space to the end of space, and that’s a lot!” He’s 17 today.
My daughter Jaden is 4, and always says “Mom I love you (and then the highest number she can count to)” Right now its 32, and if I say I love you 33, she simply says “you can’t mommy, that’s not a real number”. Makes my heart warm everytime.
I’m going to put the sentiment that my Mom (Nana) shares with my two boys (3 yrs. & 1 yr.) “I Love You to the moon and back!!!!”
I love you as much as dogs love sticks!
I love you as much as…..is humanly possible! And then some!
My daughter was adopted at age 10 months and came to us with some trauma issues. She accepted our love and kisses freely, but it took a long time before she would give us kisses in return, or say “I love you” back. She is 4 now, and has done so much healing….there is nothing sweeter in the world to me than the sound of her voice telling me “I love you millions billions thousands and fifty five! Actually a lot more than that!”
Love IS the answer.
I have two boys and the age difference is very apparent sometimes. The other day the four year old and I were talking and I told him I love him more than life itself and he told me, I love you more than my cars and dinosaurs. So then the 12 year old pipes up and tells me he loves me more than his DS.
now that is love!
My son (which is almost 8 now..) when he was small he used to say “i love you a hundred times” oh the joy of sweet little ones.. i love them so…
My 4 yr old son always says ” mommy do you love me too much ” and i’ve tried to explain to him that theres no such thing as too much love ! So i say ” yes Bradley i love you too much ” and he replies back ” i love you too much too mommy “.
I tell my kids
“I love you as much as chocolate”, which they know means a lot. My 3 year old daughter was just dignosed with diabetes and more than ever we are telling her that we love her more than anything. We tell our son and daughter that we love them every night before bed.
“I love you 10 ways from Hawaii!”
Our kids always say that so I know it’s a lot!
My bab girl is only 15 months old but I tell her all the time… I love you so much, my heart hurts!
I love you as much from here to eternity, unconditionally and so does Jesus.
As a single mom (of 3) saying “i love you” is a very big deal to me and must be done as many times a day as possible. Iv always gone with the simple ‘mommy loves you so much” until my son, who was about 18mo at the time, told me one night. ‘ i loves you a finitiy and eyond’ so now a yr and a half later ‘to infinity and beyond’ it remains and i love it!
I have 4 daughters. With all of them we play the “I love you more” game. Usually it is I love to the sky, the moon, etc. Well, a couple of months ago, my 5 yr old and I were playing. I told her I loved her to the stars. She said “I love you to Jesus!” I think that is pretty much as far as you can! She justed melted my heart. She is such a special child! I love all my girls! My 2 yr tells me she loves me”2″ and holds up 2 fingers, I guess resembing how old she is. My 8 and 9 yr olds aren’t much into the game, but I still tell them all the time, that I love them. You aren’t promised tomorrow with them, so I want to make sure that they know I love them to the sky and back and times infinity and more!
I love you as much as…”blahgooblahgeeha”
She’s only 6 months old, but she gets her point across
Our family LOVES that book and my son loves when we read it!! My four year old, Bentley, always says “I love your more than chocolate!!” Him and his Mimi(grandma) started saying that when he was about 2 and a half!! I always “melt” when I hear say it!! I always have to giggle a bit too, because he doesn’t even like chocolate!
My husband and I joke with each other saying “I love you like a fat kid loves cake.”
But when it comes to the kids I tell them that I love them more than they will ever know. They are 10 months and two and a half so I don’t get too much more than “I yuv you Mommy” at the moment. But for me that is more than enough!
I would have to steal from our favorite song to finish this phrase. We say “I love you oh so well, like a kid loves candy and fresh snow. I love you oh so well, enough to fill up Heaven, overflow and fill Hell.”
I love you so much more then the last time I seen you, I loved you so much then,,, my little 5 yrs old tells me as she comes home from school everyday.
I wrote a song for my oldest daughter when she just a baby..
“I love you from the moon and back ohhhhhh that’s a fact yes, that’s a fact. I love you from the moon and back ohhhh I love you from the moon and back…from the top of your head to the tip of your toes…my love for you it only grows..from the top of your head to the tip of your toes my love for you only grows…because I love you from the moon and back!” She turns 8 this January but still every once in awhile asks me to sing to her the love me song.
I tell my one-year-old son that I love him to the moon and back and around all the stars. He always gives hugs when he hears that!
I have a 16month and 3month old my 16month just started saying I love you. So every night at bed time we have a little arguement about who loves who ” I say I love you and he will respond no no and then I ask do you love momma uh huh” It turns my bad days into the sweetest days
I love you more than life itself.
I love you so much I traveled half way around the world for you. Weather, INS, and government red tape could not hold me back. Once I received your picture I knew you were my son. I held you in my heart before I even knew you. Each moment away from you, I worried. I could not wait to say to you “I am your Mother, you will never be alone again.”
I remember how you sank into my arms that one night when you realized how safe and loved you really were. I can still feel us rocking back and forth on the kitchen floor, holding onto one another for dear life.
(I adopted our son from the Philippines at age 7. There was a lot of red tape and I cut thru it in lightening speed (even the agency was amazed). He had a tough go of it before us. He is the light of my life.
My four year old son always tells me how “big” he loves me-not how “much”. He says, “Mommy, I love you this big”-with his arms stretched out as far as he can. So, in return, I can tell him I love him as big as my arms can stretch-and then they stretch around him for a hug.
As cliche as this sounds ……….I love you as much as life itself
I would ask my little one but she is only 3 months old
I always tell MacKenna our 16 month old that I love her more than all the blades of grass in all the world, and pieces of sand in all the oceans and on all the beaches…my husband gets a litlle jealous because I used to tell him that…LOL
I love you as much as my every breath allows.
I love you as much as a child loves play
We follow the book with stretching our arms out as wide as we can and say that’s how much we love each other.
I actually have never heard of it, but it sounds really good.
my two year old says “me loves you”. now i say it to all my kids.
“Do you know how much I love you, mommy?” Sophia, my four year old asked me. “No, honey. How much?” I responded. “Mommy, I love you all the way from right here to the sun and back again.”. My heart melted.
I love you more than boudin for breakfast. That means a lot coming from me or my husband or my son, since it’s our favorite.
the kids always tell me I love you more than all my toys mom and I always tell then I love you more than all the stuff in our house
I love you as much as hot cocoa on a cold winter day..
I always tell my 4 boys that I love them more than all the stars in the sky, as high as the tallest mountain, and as deep as the deepest ocean.
My 3yr old tells me ‘i love your top side and your bottom side, your inside & your outside…i love you through & through, yesterday, today & tomorrow too!’ It melts me every time
My son and I say that we love each other to infinity and beyond squared.
My oldest daughter used to say “I love you more than hundreds of skies”, my 5 year old says “I love you more than all the worlds”, but the game I have always played with all 5 of my kids is just “I love you more!” When they say I love you, I say I love you more, then they say it. Sometimes they say I love you more than…(whatever they insert), then we banter back and forth what we love each other more than!
My 9 month old doesn’t say I love you yet, but I always tell him “I love you more today than yesterday and I’ll love you even more tomorrow” I also say “I love you more than chocolate!” and “you are the little love of my life” which always brings a huge grin to his face (and mine!)
Ever since she was little my oldest has said “High as the sky deep as the sea thats how much Trinity loves mommy”. My mom taught her that except my mom always said thats how much grammy loves Trinity. My middle daughter is 2 and it’s just sweet to hear her say I love you mommy. My youngest is 15 months and can’t quite get it out so she just gives lots of sweet little kisses!
I love you a much as the world is big! ( my daughter when she was little)
I LOVE to tell my kids:
I love you more than “An Ice Cold Glass of Iced Tea, On a Beach In Florida, On the Perfect Summer Day, Floating in the waves and watching the clouds go by!”
My kids (twin 2 year old boys) answer with, “Mommy, Im your Bo-Friend (boyfriend)!
I LOVE when they say that to me!!!
My son, Brian and I started this tradition of each of us expressing our love to each other, while at the same time, striving to triump over each other! We would go back and forth saying things like: “I love you more than all the clouds in the sky: I love you more than all the trees in the world; I love you more than all the blades of grass in the world; I love you more than the grains of sand at all the beaches in the world”, and so on! We had so much fun doing it, while at the same time truly letting each other know how very much we loved each other!
In fact, in the fifth grade he actually made a picture for me (which of course was framed) stating “I LOVE YOU MORE THAN ALL THE STARS IN THE SKY!” I will cherish it always and forever!
Saying “I Love You” is an everyday occurrence in our house. No matter what we do or how busy we get, my two year old and I say those magical words…when I hear those words coming out of his mouth, my life gets better and better…
Guess how much I love you, I Love You Big Time!! My grandkids say that to me because since they were born I am always trying to find a way to express the love I feel for them & the life they breathe into me each time I am with them!! Being a mom was so awesome and being a grandmother is like God himself came down and blessed me perosnally!! They are Icing on The Cake!!
“I love you the mostest, always and forever.” or “lytmaaf” Mostest of course is used to express the extent of love. So sweet!
This book is still on our shelf even though my boys are 12 and 14! My 12 year old can still sometimes be caught telling me he loves me to the moon and back.. It’s usually because he wants something! This is a book I will save and someday share with my grandkids!
I have five children. Three biological daughters aged 21 to 28. And two adopted children, a 7 year old boy and an 8 year old girl, I adopted when they were born. They are very challenging with developmental and behavioral delays. That being said, I wish I could adopt five more. Children are my life. However with my fibromyalgia I am unable to. When I’ve had an awful day, feeling like I’m failing them, my son will say, in the sweetest, most sincere voice, as I put him to bed “I love you mommy. I love you from my heart.” This touches me in a way he can’t understand because, you see, two years ago this week he had open heart surgery. He’s fine now. Yet my heart breaks each time I see the remnants of what he went through… a long white scar running down his chest and belly.
While it is, and always will be, a struggle to keep up with his behavior issues and to teach him as much as I can so he can become a productive member of society, those six little words make it worth being a mommy.
Well, you know what, my one and only son? I love YOU from my heart!

I love my children more than words spoken and more than words ever written…. They are blessings from God!!!
I always tell my daughter, “I love you more than infinity. . . more than the universe.”
She says, “Mom, that IS A LOT!”
I love you as much as a baby loves breast milk!
My son says he loves me more than video games, and “…about as much as Santa…” ; )
Here’s a NEW YEAR’S resolution for parents: I will take charge of my kids’ digital media activities to make them into assets for development and family life. I want to keep their minds and brains ‘green’. See http://stores.lulu.com/store.php?fAcctID=4219079. This will take an ongoing commitment, just like dieting or working on a marriage.
“I love you as much as God loves you.” My 6 children, ages 10, 9, 7, 5, 2, and 6 months, know that God loves his children with the strongest, kindest, and the most unconditional love their is, and when I tell them that I love them as much as God loves them, they know they’ve got the best kind of love in the world.
My daughter and I say to each other, “I love you higher than the heavens and deeper than the oceans.”

I tell my girls that I love them in the whole wide world and into the stars. Once my 6 year old wanted to know how big the world was she asked her father to take her to the library to find out how big the world was. When asked why she told him she wanted to know how big mom’s love was for her. After wards she came home and said ‘I love you in the whole wide world and into the stars, mom.” I unknowingly responded the same till later on after the girls went to bed my husband told me the story. I thought it was the sweetest thing I ever heard and I still love them in the whole wide world and into the stars.
my granddaughter and I always say”I love you more than the moon”
Wow, wonderful blog post! I even have shown this to my friends!
